TRUCKS OUT WEST The ARTA’s biannual flagship event, Trucks Out West, is coming together for the 6th September 2008 in Dubbo.

Trucks Out West is our Road Train Road Safety Awareness Day & Road Transport Equipment Expo, and will feature Double & Triple Road Trains, as well as evolving innovative combinations such as B-Triples and BAB Quads.

Along with the historical trucks on show, a key attraction will be the special appearance by the Bandag Bullet.

Members will also have the opportunity to enter the truck ‘Show and Shine’ competition, as well as meet with all aspects of the industry from suppliers to the RTA and police.

Trucks Out West will be followed by the annual ARTA Dinner/Auction.

Seats are limited, so members and their guests are asked to book early to avoid disappointment.

The more hands on deck the better, so if you are available to lend a hand or know of potential sponsors who may enjoy the huge exposure available through the events, please drop us a line.

For reservations and further information please contact Trish Morris in our Dubbo office:

The Australian Road Train Association (ARTA) is a grass-roots driven, not-for-profit industry advocacy organisation run by the Australian road train and multi-combination sector, representing those whose livelihoods are committed to meeting that challenge.

This website is the central meeting and information point for ARTA members to keep abreast of the latest political and professional developments in the Australian trucking sector, and to influence the direction of how they wish their association to represent them.

ARTA also encourages the wider local and international community to keep in touch.

This can be simply to ask about the unique nature and role of road trains in the Australian logistics industry, through to how we will go about addressing the mammoth task that all Australian governments have recognised as a doubling of the freight on Australian roads over the next 20 years.

While our primary goal is to serve our Industry Members, we invite those who wish to support the Australian Road Train Association, or simply have an interest in these iconic vehicles, to become Associate Members.
